Philadelphia Art Museum

It’s been a few years since we’ve been to the art museum in Philadelphia. While all of the covid restrictions were in place, they were somehow able to complete and MAJOR renovation of the building, opening up more space for use by visitors and making the structure friendlier for patrons and even more beautiful than before.

We thoroughly enjoyed seeing the Matisse in the 1930s exhibit and then drove toward the river to have lunch at one of our favorites, the Reading Terminal Market.

It was a great way to spend a day in Philly.
