Finally here
The trip was a little rough. Started with a 2 ½ hour delay in Amsterdam, which they endured pretty well because Schiopol Airport is an interesting place, as transportation centers go. But then, the American Airlines crew did not help things at all by being quite rude (except for the ice cream lady). But they arrived on Saturday, tired but in great spirits, and all had been waiting for a long time for this visit. They managed to stay awake for a while and then it was off to bed to begin the process of shifting to eastern daylight time and their American vacation.
