The Brandywine River Museum held a retrospective of Andrew Wyeth’s life and art coinciding with the 100th anniversary of his birth. They had collected works from many other museums and private collections and devoted two floors of the museum to the exhibit. It was really incredibly interesting. I don’t think we will see another collection of Wyeth’s work that is this extensive.
Jen had put together a picnic for us and we stopped after the museum at Chaddsford Winery, bought a bottle of wine, and enjoyed the sun while having lunch in a pretty setting.
