We left just in time. The Mid-Atlantic and New England go hit with cold, snowy, icy weather just a few days after we arrived in Florida. And while there were some times when it was cooler than we might have hoped, we had a terrific time every single day. We flew to Tampa to see Jen’s mom and Liz and her family first and while we were there, we saw a Grand Prix race in St. Petersburg and a ball game in Bradenton. Then Liz drove everyone to Amelia Island where we met Patti and Mike at Doug and Peggy’s house on the beach. We enjoyed boat rides, a vintage car race, and especially our time with Doug and Peggy.
It was a great vacation.
