images of our life
While Ryan and Kristen were enjoying Broadway and Manhattan, we spent Sunday enjoying some local entertainment.
We watched a vintage baseball game between the Elkton Eclipse and the Lewes Base Ball Club. The games are in a field next to the Terrapin Station Winery just a few miles from our home. They play by 1864 rules: fly balls, fair or foul, can be caught on one bounce causing the batter to be out, no gloves for the fielders, and the pitching is underhand. Fun to watch.
A little later, then, we went with a group of friends to the Concert in the Park in Chesapeake City. The concert’s on the C&D canal and we watched two ocean freighters go by while we were there. An ice cream cone after the music and the evening was complete.
