We had high expectations. We were surprised and pleased to be able to get tickets and we decided to prepare for the show. I re-read Alexander Hamilton by Ron Chernow, Jen read My Dear Hamilton, A Novel of Eliza Schuyler Hamilton, and we listened to the soundtrack. We thought we were ready.
From the first moments, though, we were susrprised and delighted by the power and emotion of the story, music, and staging. It was our first visit to the Hippodrome and we loved our visit to this historic theater.
Brian and Alexis came with us and it was a spectacular and wonderful experience for all of us. We had a great time.
