We went down to Wolf Trap with our good friends Rick and Joanne Keane, Curt and Kim Philipp, and Royce and Anita Robbins to see Lionel Richie. We had a picnic before the concert (and a bit of wine) and enjoyed having time to visit in the beautiful Wolf Trap National Park.
It was a great show and Lionel showed his skill and including the audience as an important part of his performance. It was hot, everyone was sweating, and he was able to make all of us laugh about the stifling heat. He made the evening really enjoyable.
