On Sunday, we traveled to Keukenhof, a spectacular garden that is open to the public only eight weeks each year. But they are glorious weeks. The spring flowers bloom and the gardens are beautiful arrangements of color and texture.
Then we had dinner and dessert in Leiden. We arrived at the restaurant a bit early. When we went in, Courtney asked if we could sit inside to wait and the manager said, “Sure! I’ll go turn the oven on and we’ll get things going for you."
