There are no good words for the airplane ride but our destination made all the inconveniences seem minor. We were going to Europe to spend a week with Dan, Courtney, Owen, Louisa, and Cara.

We thought we were going to be leaving on time. The plane was at the gate, weather was good, no problems in sight.

No problems until the pallet loader broke down near the plane and blocked access for the food service to stock the airplane.

After much discussion, they loaded the food from the rear door, rolled it to the front of the plane, and rolled the cart back to the rear and out the door. It was a ponderous process, but it worked. We left about an hour later than scheduled.
