Cara had a countdown calendar and was excited that our visit was so close.
Knowing what we were interested in doing, they had prepared an itinerary for us so we could actually make all of it happen. And it did!
The weather was unusually good for this early September.
We began our trip on Labor Day. Mark took us to the Wilmington train station where we took Amtrak to the Newark Liberty airport. On the board, the train to Boston is the one we were taking.

We rested just a bit and when the kids got home from school, Courtney got all of us in their van and it was time for some fun errands.
A local farm had just started selling fresh milk from a vending machine. You put your coin in and it gives you a liter of milk.
