On Thursday, we borrowed Dan’s car and after some excellent guidance from Courtney, drove to Brielle to spend a few hours in this very, very old town in Holland. Surrounded by water, Brielle was small, quiet, and a great place to enjoy a sunny afternoon.
The church building at the end of this street was originally planned to be much, much larger. Construction started in 1417 but only the nave and the tower were completed.
