Mark’s interest in coins led him to plan a trip to the Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge for the release of the latest quarter in the America the Beautiful program. He invited us to go along and we had a great day with him. There were many more people there than we expected and we were a little surprised that both Delaware senators were there as well as former governor and congressman Mike Castle, who began the state quarters program when he was in congress.
The it was on to Cantwell’s Tavern for a really good lunch in what was first a hotel, built in 1822.
