Soccer, Newspapers, and Pizza Fresca

Our last day was filled with soccer, newspapers, and a unique pizza experience. Most of all, we were with the family all day. And that’s why we came.

Louisa was in a school soccer tournament.

Cara saw a friend while we were there.

When we got back, it was time to help Owen stuff papers.

He loaded up the bakfiet with newspapers and his assistant and off they went to deliver the first load.

A unique pizza experience, it works like this. You call the Pizza Fresca truck, it arrives at your door at the time you specify, and you choose and order your pizzas. While you wait, they prepare and bake your pizzas in the truck and you’re ready for dinner in minutes. The pizzas are not pre-made. In fact, they roll the crust while you watch. It was delicious and fun.

Cara managed to talk her way onto the truck.

One of our favorites was the “Popeye” pizza, with spinach and finished with an egg in the center.

Our final message of a wonderful, unforgettable week.
