The end of the regular schedule was approaching and Jen and I still had not seen an Oriole game. The mid-September Yankee series seemed like a good time to go and the fact that Baltimore is celebrating the 200th anniversary of the battle that inspired Francis Scott Key to write the Star Spangled Banner meant that there would be the added spectacle of the biggest party that Baltimore has ever thrown. We were there two years ago when the celebration began - and we were there on its final weekend.
