There was plenty of warning and we had plenty of milk and bread. We slept Wednesday night knowing what would happen, just a little uncertain about how much. It was worse than anticipated, with 16 inches of snow during the first wave. Then a brief respite and 4-5 more inches overnight on Thursday.
