Rain threatened in the afternoon and it actually drizzled a bit, the cloud cover managed to keep the temperature a little cooler than anyone expected during the last weekend in May, but we had a great time watching the horses and visiting with friends and family.
Brian organized a simpler, easier tailgate event which was just as much fun and more enjoyable to prepare. The food was delicious, the horses were magnificent, and we were able to spend the afternoon together with wonderful people.
One of our favorite days of the year.
