In 2015, we had to cancel the Grillathon because of weather. Last year, we were forced to delay it a day because of threatening ris year, though, the only unusual thing about the weather is that it was a little warmer than usual for early October. It was going to be a very good day.
Brian came to the house on Friday night with all of his equipment and slept here rather than going home for just a couple of hours. He and I got up about 1am, had a cup of coffee, and started the fires.
The day had officially begun and in 14 short hours, we would be having a spectacular meal.
