We took a high speed train from Stockholm to Copenhagen and it was smooth, quiet, and comfortable until the last hour. Our train stopped to pick up passengers from a disabled train ahead of us and the delay began to cascade to the entire network, resulting in rescheduled trains, destination changes, crowded platforms, jammed train cars, and a condition of barely controlled chaos. We stayed in touch with our Airbnb host, though, and when we finally got out of our cab at his apartment, he was standing there with a smile to greet us. We moved in and headed for Tivoli Gardens, the second oldest amusement park in the world. After our train ride, it was nice to enjoy some wonderful fantasy.
