images of our life
Winterthur, formerly a duPont home and now an outstanding reflection of American history, is home this year to a collection of costumes seen on Downton Abbey. The staff at Winterthur did an outstanding job comparing the life of the Crawleys to the life of the duPonts in the Brandywine Valley. Lady Patricia and Lady Jennifer were right at home.
While we were there, we took a short tour of just a few of the 175 rooms in the museum and it was apparent very soon in our tour that Winterthur is one of the very special treasures of this area.
Very fun day.
